I am really feeling great and excited about starting to run again next week. I'm going to just do 1 mile and see how I feel afterwards. If that feels fine, I will do 1 mile again the next day and the next for about a week. Then, I plan on upping to 2 miles and so on. My goals this year are to simply get my muscles strong for running longer distances next year. I will let you all know how the 1 miler feels after I do it on Sunday or Monday.

Awesome! I'm so glad that you're doing better. Slow and steady-right? Running is something you can do for a life time- people in their seventies are just now completing their first marathons! It's an awesome sport that just takes patience and discipline to build into. Can't wait to hear how it goes- Lindsey
