Wow!

Great Job Linds! Thats awesome. Sounds like it was a really rewarding run!You must have a great feeling today. So I just had a great lesson of patience while on the phone for an hour with a customer service person. Huge test of patience! Ill use that tonight on my run. I am going to do 8 miles on a treadmill. I know sounds fun. But I havent run since Thursday so I am ready to put up the miles today after work at 530. Im writing this also as I eat a good bowl of carbs. Hope the carbs and watching a movie on the treadmill help tonight. Love you guys! Thanks for the strengthening encouragment from you both!

Awesome! A good attitude makes all the difference. Especially when you're mentally preparing that its all you want to do. Let me know how it goes-Lindsey

The 8 miles went good. I ran the whole way except for about 15 seconds when my ipod fell and it flew off the treadmill. About 2.5 it was the hardest. It is so mind control with me. The first sign of being tired and knowing that I have a lot to go is usaully rough for me to get through. This time it was a lot better. I said to myself I am finishing 8 miles today . I sprinted the last bit. I felt like I had a lot left over to do more, and was surprised 8 came so quick while sprinting. I was ready to do about 3 minutes more. So it went good. My music really was encouraging. Every song I listened to talked about going the distance, not giving up, and Jesus. I know it sounds funny, but I felt like the Lord was rooting me on. lol so that was good. I felt stiff afterwards and my left knee is a little sore or something. Other than that I feel good tonight.

Good job, Melin! I am so proud of you for sticking out 8 miles on a treadmill. Maybe this week we can do the long 10 together.
