I have had some good training in lately, yet it has been so freakin hot!
I ran 6 miles at town lake the other day with a 8.50 pace. I felt pretty strong. I started off pacing with this guy in front of me, then he started picking it up. I thought maybe I started going slower so I kept up with him and then realized after he stopped he was doing his last sprint at the end. By that time I was defiantly warmed up and tried to keep the pace. It was a good run and I felt like I was flying. My legs] muscles were sore the next day. Loved that. I am taking today off and then tomorrow I want to do a good steady 8 after work. Or I might do the bike ride group with Lifetime. I have been meaning to try that out. Do you guys know how long that trail is around the showing center of Chuys and Costco? Maybe I will run there if I dont ride.
I notice I pray more when I dont have my music with my training. But when I have my music its just easier and time flys. I think I push it also with music.
Im getting excited about the half.

You really are a ninja going out in the middle of the heat of the day to get a run in! I'll use you as my inspiration for today.
