Knees are Annoying

Hola,

Well I did 5 miles today during lunch break on the treadmill. My shin splints have left. I feel so good cardio wise. I feel really strong in my legs and overall everything except my knees feel like I am pounding on them a little at the end of the run. I try hard to resist going a lot faster. But I stay around a 10 minute pace. The sprinter in me(high school) wants to go but I am hoping I can live that out in time. So I am staying slow now. I am going to ice them tonight and hopefully it will go away in time. I feel the potential. I am also going to get those knee things to wear around the bottom of your knees. I am looking into doing a half marathon in March time frame.

Awesome job. I love how you called Sarah ninja. Just know the difference between annoying and hurting- annoying comes with most exercise. It's annoying that everytime I swim my stomach cramps, but it means that I don't use my abs enough in real life. I keep hoping that it'll make me want to eat less (no luck yet)- Lindsey

Good job, melinda. i am so proud of you for keeping up your running. i can't wait to cheer you on in your half marathon! that class was great, huh? Lindsey, If you ever have an easy day in your running schedule, you should do it (Body Attack) as a supplement. Lots of interval training!
