So I ran today on my lunch break and did 4 miles.It must have been high 90s outside. It was a good run and I surprisingly did a good time. The last mile I was praying the whole way. I get so challenged and I love thinking I am doing this for the Lord. It actually really makes me speed up and sprint the hills. I also did spin yesterday and gave it my all. I think that may be something I might really like to train for. It is extremely challenging yet easy on the knees for me. Tonight my knees are a little something..... They dont hurt or feel pain but they just feel a little trampled on.
Anyway so this week is a good start of very challenging training. Im really excited about doing a duathaton.

You know that if you love biking and running makes your body hurt too much, you can do just bike events, right? I think you'll 'du' awesome in the duathlon, though. I'm glad you're excited about it. Stay hydrated...that's the key to summer. It takes two weeks to acclimate to the temp changes according to RUNNER'S WORLD
